Transfer Contacts From Android to Android via Bluetooth
Android users can import and export their contacts from just 1 single click by using the built-in Contacts app. Built-in android contacts app allow users to backup/restore their all contacts to SD Card or internal storage as VCF format.
Once you done with VCF file send it to new android phone and import VCF file to restore your contacts to phone. Contacts can also be import easily via bluetooth.
All you need to do is that just Tap on “Bluetooth” from sending end, from receiving end accept the Bluetooth authorization request to receive backup file (Please make sure that bluetooth visibility is on receiving end)
Following image is taken from the Oppo A37, However almost all android phones have same procedure to backup restore contacts.
Export Contacts From Android
- Go to Settings / Contacts to start transferring process or open the Contacts app and tap menu.
- Now tap on Import/Export Contacts.
- From Image 3 now click on export to storage device to save contacts on SD card or internal storage.
- Once you save a backup file open file manager to locate your VCF/vCard backup file and send it to new phone.
Import Contacts From Android
From Import Contacts menu you can import contacts through two ways.
- If you already have a backup file then
- Open Contacts App
- Tap Import/Export
- Tap on import from usb storage. Locate and open backup file to restore your Contacts.
- Note : Contacts can also be import directly by tapping on the backup file.
Contacts can also be import easily by simply going to to the destination folder and tapping the contacts backup.vcf file. You can share your phone book to any whatsapp number if you want….

Transfer Contacts Android to iPhone via Move to iOS App
Open your brand new iPhone and follow the instruction until you reach the screen titled “Apps & Data”.
Tap “Move Data from Android” option.
Make sure that you have already installed Move to iOS on your Android phone, If you don’t have open Google Play Store and search for Move to iOS. Make sure that app publisher is Apple Inc. For reference see image below.
Select and Open App
Tap accept if any additional permissions require.
Once installed Tap and open the app.
Tap Continue on both devices. For reference see image below.
Look at iPhone it will display 12 digit code.
Enter that code On your Android device to connect both devices.
After entering the code, Both Android and iPhone device will connect via peer-to-peer Wifi connection. Once connection been established between both devices.
New window will appear where you can choose what type of things you want to transfer. It is recommended that you should check all the fields including your Google Account , Chrome bookmarks, Messages, Contacts, and all the Camera Photos and videos.
